My Lugaru Art

Post by Nazgul11 » Thu Dec 01, 2005 5:43 pm

Hi everybody! I love to draw, so I decided to start my own Lugaru art. I just finished it today.

So what do you think? I found it hard to do the face like it is in the game, but it ended up pretty good.

Not bad, it's better then what i can draw...

but this isn't really concept art. Concept art is done by the creators in order to get an idea of what they think he should look like. Usually by different angles and what is contrasted on him.

Thanks!

Yeah I know. I guess sometimes (unfortunately) any kind of game art is considered concept art. But yeah, the meaning for it is what you said. I'll change the name.

you should design a mod totally drawn out of pencil...
that would be cool

It would also be really hard, and wouldn't really work out.

i dont actually think it would be that hard...
you print out the wire frame draw your thing ontop scan it back in...
you mean it would take a long time...

and wouldn't really work out? what does that mean... it would look rad...
maybe you should think outside the square.

Thanks for the complement.

A mod like that would be very neat. Although I have to agree with leDoOd. It would be very hard, and also a long project. But if it was done right, it probably could work out.

Edit: Btw leDoOd, I like your avatar. :P

The problem is that the edge of the model is always shfiting, so you can't draw the edges and have white in the center.

toon shaders, cell-shading, or an inversed shell textured pure black would accomplish that.

Overall, I don't think I want to try it. :P Very interesting idea though michael_logie.

All of which are unsupported by David's engine.
