I think yes if you have the funds, it's provided me with many hours of replay value especially with all the added mods and modding you can do yourself.

Glad to hear it! Just remember modding the game by yourself is a bit difficult. fortunately there's beginning to be a rather large repository of helpful people.

I still haven't found the config.txt for Lugaru, and I've owned it for 5 years

Your file browser should have a search function. Use it to search for the file.Jacktheawesome wrote:I still haven't found the config.txt for Lugaru, and I've owned it for 5 years

Yeah I know. I've searched that way, no luck, I've looked in application support and my copy of Lugaru HD didn't come with an application support folder, and it's not in the original folder, it's just weird.
iBook G4 running OS 10.5.8 btw, although the same goes for the iMac running 10.6.7 and the Macbook Pro running 10.5.8

Have you tried showing package contents on the game itself? I mean I don't think that's likely but still.

First thing I tried
EDIT
Guys guys! Found config.txt. Set debug mode to 1. Read debug readme. None of the commands work. Anything special I need to do?

well did you actually go into the game or did you try it from the menu? also did you make sure to shift+m before trying to place things? or does the console work? can you see the writing on the screen with your user name? Also where was it?

Re: should i buy lugaru?
Well, in probably the most inexplicably n00bish move ever, I have been clicking on the icon wrong, so Show Package Contents wasn't showing up. Even though I have been doing it perfectly over and over again in OG. *facepalm* I tried stuff in challenge levels, campaign, and tutorial. shift+m just makes him crouch. What is the console? No writing anywhere.
Are you on a PC? Maybe the commands are different, although I don't know why that would be the case. Also where did you find it? In OG there's a copy of config.txt in Data, but it doesn't actually change anything. You have to go to application support. I wonder if it's something like that.
