Performance Issues

Post by BluePen » Sat Dec 01, 2012 11:34 pm

Hi I've been playing Overgrowth for a while now, then I decided to download Receiver, it only took 10 minutes. Anyway, I loaded it up, got into the game and it had a massive frame drop. Seriously it when down to about 10 FPS, I died 2 times, then I restarted my Computer, did nothing, and It is just all jittery and such, is there anyway to fix this or not?

I have; Windows 7 NVIDA GeForce 9400 GT

I believe the massive drops are created by the un-optimized Unity lights and shadows.
There are waaay too much lights in the levels, check it out, light filled areas are the parts where the drops occur. While on the other hand, lightless areas just go like a dream.
