Re: more weapon mods
It looks different on my machine, seems like the UV mapping is different, or the texture is different or something. It's all in the right folders and stuff.
Edit: Hang on, I guess I made a mistake..
Edit: Yeah, I overwrote the wrong staff.solid. Cool staff, dude!

Re: more weapon mods
thanks
Hey, I've been wanting to make modifications to the ground (make mountains and such). does anyone know where the ground file is stored?

It's the heightmap.png in Data/Textures/Calzaath wrote:thanks

Open it with Gimp or whatever.
Black is lowest floor, white is highest mountain. Stay away from the extremes, just pick greytones. Also, don't overdo it with slope. The viewport culling code breaks if slopes are too extreme, it'll make mountain triangles flicker towards the edge of the screen and stuff like that. And the physics don't hold up, same for pathfinding. But that's not really an issue; the culling issue is the worst part of it. Maybe it's actually an issue with confusion over where a triangle is facing, not sure.

ah, that's quite a brilliant way to do it!
