Cleartape
So as I understand: one of the tapes is the Cleartape, which only has background static, but "after several sessions you may hear a voice".
Am I supposed to listen to it over and over again? And how can I do that? Nothing happens when I press X after the tape has ended.
Just wondering if there is anything on that tape.

Re: Cleartape
The cleartape is just a clear tape. The voices you hear when listening to tapes are easily heard when you pick up your 3rd or so tape in the same run, in the form of chanting.atomtengeralattjaro wrote:So as I understand: one of the tapes is the Cleartape, which only has background static, but "after several sessions you may hear a voice".

You can't actually re-listen to tapes, though that would be cool.

Re: Cleartape
As far as the story goes, the tape is not clear.atomtengeralattjaro wrote:So as I understand: one of the tapes is the Cleartape, which only has background static, but "after several sessions you may hear a voice".

As far as gameplay goes, it's just static.

Re: Cleartape
I'd like to point out that David tweeted about your find.

We're through the looking glass, man!
Re: Cleartape
I'm not quite sure about the first two numbers but I can definitely hear 23 15 12 6 9 18 5 18 21 12 5 19
When you replace the numbers with letters you get Wolfire Rules.

Now that's an evil secret message. I feel brainwashed.
Re: Cleartape
I'm pretty sure it says "Are you receiving? Are you receiving? 23 15 ..."Erwin wrote:I'm not quite sure about the first two numbers but I can definitely hear 23 15 12 6 9 18 5 18 21 12 5 19

That's it. We (you guys, i didn't do shit) figured it out.adwuga wrote:I'm pretty sure it says "Are you receiving? Are you receiving? 23 15 ..."Erwin wrote:I'm not quite sure about the first two numbers but I can definitely hear 23 15 12 6 9 18 5 18 21 12 5 19

So essentially he's saying, "Are you receiving? Are you receiving? Wolfire rules." That's awesome.
I actually thought it was a joke when he first said it translated to Wolfire Rules, but after a quick google search I found a thing that could decrypt simple codes and it actually is that. You clever bastards!
