How to make Receiver as terrifying as possible (in default)

I see you have Receiver, and you must admit; it's pretty damn scary, intentional or not.
I bet you've seen some suggestions on how to make Receiver a full blown horror game (or have some yourself), but all of them require code.
NOT THESE ONES!


Step 1. Play Fullscreen on a TV/1920x1080 monitor.
This makes things scarier then you think.

Step 2. Turn off the music and play creepy music instead.
This way, you have no idea if you're nearby a killdrone or not.

Step 3. Turn off your lights and wear headphones.
Always do this if you want to get scared more then usual.

Step 4. Don't use guns.
You have NO WAY to defend yourself. NOTHING! NADA!

Step 5. Don't use flashlights, either.
The darkness surrounds you as you run away from an aggressive hoverbot.

Step 6 (Optional, but awesome): Occulus Rift
I don't need to explain this.
