That explains the clothes T has in most of your screenies...
Anyway I still think it would be easier to travel if there was some form of transportation, lets see the possible answers
*Boats- yes
*Wooden bike thing- wouldn't fit in
*Hawk- too small
*Cart- nothing to power it
*Horse- riding an anthropomorphic horse... Awkward...

It seems like the boats are the only logical vechile. Land travel might take a while.

We need water and some puzzles. Maybe Zelda-style dungeons, but you face wolves, etc. instead.

I mostly just want water and maybe a fighting system for water fights.

Why not have a pogo stick? It's weird, but jumping higher will get you farther, and making you move faster forward would help even more.

Maybe a cannon? Put cannons in various places and you get shot out of them. For realism you could force T to land in a mat or trampoline of some kind.

If we're lucky stuff like pogo sticks and getting shot out of cannons could be
made in custom maps. Those should really not be in the official story campaign though.

Boats would be nice however, and some sort of sleigh or something
to get down fast in snowy areas?

BTW, Termite sabotage :D

"Weeeeeeeeeeeee- Argh, why did it stop? Why are there termites in my sleigh?"
The best land vechile so far is some sort of bike, made of wood of course ("AAHH TERMITES!") I like the sleigh, could be used in grassy situations too, as long as theres a hill and you don't hit any rocks

(What if there was termites in Lugaru 1? Remember the 'Wooden rabbit' glitch? )

Is it so important that every living creature should be anthropomorphic?

I'm not so sure it'd be quite so "Normal" in the world of Lugaru to have some kind of anthropomorphic horse-thing… :P

Compared with rabbits, hawks are huge.

But anthropomorphic rabbits with muscles like in Lugaru 2 concept art look pretty damn heavy to me. :P

Also, the hawk is a living creature in Lugaru that isn't anthropomorphic.

Not in Lugaru; look at the screens posted above. They're not PSed; they're actual screens.

And I consider the fact the hawk is not anthropomorphized as proof that it's outside the normal world of Lugaru.

Riding the hawk would be like riding a centaur or a unicorn; they're creatures of dignity, strength and spiritual power, not beasts of burden, nor subject to anyone's mastery.

David has said something like this before but I can't remember where, all mammals are anthropomorphic, hawks aren't really mammals are they?

No, Birds are not Classified as mammals.
The Hawk was also in Souls of Steal. I just thought the bird was Davids Signature of some kind that depicted that HE wrote the game.

I think it's just because Soul of Steel and Lugaru both share the same engine.

I wish there was a windows version of SOS.
Speaking of windows, this may be off topic but why do people hate windows? There's nothing wrong with it!

Besides all the viruses compared to mac and other operating systems (More use of an OS brings more viruses) and all the bugs, the fact that it often seems like it's engineered to let things open automatically and of their own free will. And I also hate "EXE" :P

Either way, if you've got it, use it. (If you dare…)

I only got a virus once and that time I deserved it. And EXE sounds cool. Ok back to topic, what could turner use? A Sleigh would be fun, and boats are ok. But we need a land vechile other than the sleigh, here's why

Sleigh- driven by gravity, fun and fast but cannot go uphill or steer very well
Boat- Probably slow, needs crew to sail, and go on water but not land
Smaller boat- no crew, weaker than boat
???- can go uphill but not as fast as the Sleigh.

Can't wait to race the king on a sleigh
Turner: So, this is where you ran off to.
King: You'll never catch me!

Sleigh'd - 150 points

These transportations might sometimes be a problem though - in, say, the desert.
