Good stuff

The first screenshot is very cool, although not for the reason that the post is about.

Is this peer-to-peer networking or is there a server involved?

Silb killed Invertin
Silb killed guy1
Silb killed bob32

....Silb is too good at it

I think with the new Game play it will be a little harder for Silb.
other than that, He may not be that good at PvP. (not say you are not Silb. but we Must all agree we have never Tried our skills at LPvP.)
Its one thing to master beating a Ai, but Fighting another Person his harder to do.

but if he pwns you, oh well, We just wont Multi player game with Silb, bils, or 51lb or any other variants. :P

I'm not sure multiplayer Lugaru will be playable across the Atlantic, what with the need for near-instant responses.

I'd be more worried about Beginner if I were you, invertin. :) Also Colicedus is right.

Hi Im newguy23notsilb I boat teh game yesterday
Dont wury Im not silb trying 2 fool u by means of a meticulously formulated fake identity

Great stuff. I'm glad to see it's coming along well, but will there be a way to provide handicaps for Some Incredibly Lethal Bunnies? I was thinking that there could be a mutually agreed upon % based decrease of strength or speed. This could also be entertaining in reverse as some sort of 1 v. All Mutant type game.

How about using a Cube engine style fight, with no delays on your side, you only see delays with the other players you see.

And a larger reversal reaction time, perhaps?

And only have these apply in non-LAN games?

Just some ideas, they're probably in the wrong thread though. :P

Ah well, right now the topic here is multiplayer, so it's alright.

So that's a peek at the multiplayer? Looking great. I'm glad to see some progress for a change.

Had any ideas of lugaru 2s GUI David?

Maaan. I was wondering if there was actually going to be multiplayer.

Balance issues- easy! Just make killing sprees difficult, by making the person get tired.
