Though, seriously, ALTIMIT should be developed and released. We need self-accomodating OS's with built in A.I. for running the whole thing. Wouldn't it be cool if you could just talk to your computer like in Star Trek?

Anyway, if anyone wants any idea on what I'm talking about, specificly the "Deadly Flash" virus incident of 2003, make a new topic of inquiry.

What's life without a good argument?

Well... How about a "nothing beats the programmable calculator" statement or something to warm up the discussion?

It would be a pain in the arse to exchange memory from the 7 PCs that you would buy, although, it is a matter of preference what type of computer you get. and some of david's games might not work on a PC

Apple won't sell Macs for cheap. Macs won't be much faster then PC's.
Slower too. This discussion is senseless.

Theres no way in hell apple will sell macs cheap. Unless they get more people to switch then that might happen. But that most likely will never ever happen. Apple has a very very small market, microsoft has a big market. Theres just no way to change it.

You don't think. Just last week or so, apple lowered the price from $2,500, or at least around there, to $2,000. In that week they sold over 20,000 machines. Plus, more and more people are switching from windows to apple.

20,000 machines? Thats nothing compared to pc and game console sales. I will belive that people are switching when apple reaches the 900,000 mark in sales for its G5's.

Still though, Apple is now the leading preference for compuers in today's society. of course, the only people that voted are computer geeks... :? but, most people who like windows buy it becuse it's cheap, and it has the basic needs for school and work, if you're not a developer.

Bah. More geeks know the truth about computers than teachers and video editors.

I have to agree. I got a wireless mouse, two buttons and a wheel. I love the wheel.
