If you supported M&B (by the way, are you on the forums?), then you would realise how much piracy hurts indie developers.
That said, I really have little place in recriminating you, since my key was given to me by a friend, though that means that only two people have the same key, not nine.
EDIT: Really should get my facts straight...

we should direct the developers to the gamemaker (version 9.0 or whatever) security system style.
the new one is practically uncrackable thanks to registration and activation of individual codes.
