The Kinect system is going to cost $150 and will include the game Kinect Adventures.
You could also get a bundle with the new Xbox 360 & the Kinect for a total of $300.
That bundle would be a great deal for those new to the Xbox scene, but is not as tempting for the ones of us who already owns a Xbox 360 console.

Unless mine breaks, yeah. I doubt I'll pay 150. Never into paying ridiculous amounts for shit like Rock Band and Kinect and stuff.
Actually, a few of my discs have been scratched, and I've been told by certain people that some stores will fix your discs for you for small fees. Like pay 5 euro to get a disc fixed or something.

My little brother takes care of my 360 when I'm gone. He's also the one buying all the expensive Rock Band bundles. He gets to borrow my console, I get to use his games.
I am not going to buy Kinect myself, just because I think it will just look silly.
Sure, it might be fun to fool around with the system when you're hosting a party or something with your friends, but other than that, I don't think it's my line of interest when it comes to games. I like the firm, hard textures of the original Xbox controls, and I'm sticking to'em.
... and €5 to get a disc restored to its natural state is quite a reasonable price.

For 5 pounds? they're not just going into the back room and using a scratch remover are they?
Re: Member photos
Euros.
And I think it's a little more to it than that.

I do almost all of my game shopping in "GAME" stores, and in the one local to where I used to live, they would repair one disk for £3 or anything up to 3 disks for £5, I was going to, but then we moved, so I just bought a new copy of my only broken game, but meh what can I say, I got to the point where I needed to play it again!

Yeah maybe it's 3 euros. I'm not exactly sure. 3 discs for 5 pounds sounds good. My Fifa 10 disc is scratched so I can't play it, and my Bad Company 2 CD is scratched but I have it installed to the hard drive so it only needs verification from the disc. Fifa 10 is what I'm really missing, but the space taken up on my hard drive is quite irritating.

Perhaps it's time to purchase the 250GB version of the Xbox 360, after all?

(I dont know if you're attempting to correct me or whether you're asking what I'm talking about )
Re: Member photos
No seriously, I had no idea of what Milo was.
Re: Member photos
Milo was a character for the tech demo for Kinect.
Apparently, the denizens of the internet want to psychologically abuse him to see what happens.

Yeah, I was also wondering how it would react to that. Auto-shutoff?
