Is it possible to spinecrusher a wolf normally?

Post by RhinoG » Sun Nov 19, 2006 6:39 pm

I think it is, because I just did on the 3 wolves level, but is it supposed to be possible or is it a glitch? Just wondering, but I dont understand how I did it, usually I sweep or roundhouse kick him when I land directly behind :?

No, it's quite possible, the thing is that they notice you fast, so you have to jump to gather speed in the air, then land a little behind it and don't use the direction keys, just let the speed you have gathered slide you behind the wolf (unless you land directly behind it) while you keep the attack button down, result spinecrush.. in that level is also the angle you attack from important (left from the bush between start point and the first wolf), think it got something to do with the wind.

I've done it once. I just kept jumping straight up as high as I could then kicking him and eventually I landed behind him and did a spinecrusher.

It's a matter of your:
1. Weapon - a. None; b. Sword; c. Knife; d. Staff
2. Position - a. Behind; b. In front
3. Proximity - a. Touching; b. Arm distance; c. Short weapon distance; d. Long weapon distance; e. Ranged weapon distance
4. Motion - a. Motionless; b. Moving (i.e., pushing a motion button)
5. Stance - a. Upright; b. Crouching
6. Enemy's motion - a. Motionless; b. Moving
7. Attack - a. Primary; b. Secondary; c. None
8. Location - a. On the ground; b. In the air

1.a + 2.a + 3.a + 4.a + 5.a + 6.a + 7.a + 8.a = Spinecrusher!

That's exiting when you first learn how to do it, then you get bored of it :P and then you start trying to master the "Ninja Bonus" (If you dont know what it is, I wont tell you, cause I'm trying to make a gif of it before Usagi... It's really hard, though) :D .

Too late, but I won't post mine. (Well, maybe after yours.)
Keep up the good work; I thought you'd dropped out of our friendly fight, and I was feeling sad and lonely.

PS: 1.c + 2.a/b + 3.b/c/d + 4.b + 5.b + 6.a/b + 7.b + 8.b = NJB

Secondary attack? There's only one attack button.

Really? How do you throw your knife?

So, call it Attack and Throw if you will. I have them mapped to Mouse 1 and Mouse 2.

You have to do it twice, I flipped behind the alpha wolf, he forgot i was there, so i spinecrushered him but he was still alive! i did it again, then i killed him.
