No opacity, but it makes stickman animation so much easier I can do another one in about 5 mins

Thats what I meant too. It doesn't really look like smoke, which is probably why you didn't get it at first.

I wasn't happy with FFA, so I elongated it. here is FFAE (Free for all elongated)

Note: The blue thingy was a powerup, when that guy fell from the sky the powerup wore off.
