In AvP, predator didn't use guns, probably because schwarzenegger wasn't in it.

They gave humans their hi-tech guns, released a bunch aliens, and then went in independently with nets and fist swords for super ownage against everyone.

Yeah, but the predators in AVP were "Unblooded". Basically they were n00bs up against a bunch of Aliens. Kinda sucks.
