When I play Lugaru, my PC crashes. ; [

I have tried turning down all the fun graphical effects (motion blur, blood, etc.) to no avail.

Every time I play Lugaru I end up getting this blue screen that says "beginning physical dump of memory" and I have to restart my computer and all my progress is lost.

Can someone advise me what to do? I'm new. :/

Does anything else ever cause this problem? I would suspect a hardware or driver problem.

I have seen this error before. It was caused by a ram chip that had bad sectors. This could very likely be the case for you as well.

It could also be a broken graphics card driver. Try updating it.

If you want to test your RAM, by the way, you can with this stuff.

Download, burn onto a bootable CD, reboot with the CD in drive, let the tests test your RAM several times (takes a long time), and if the number of errors is >0, probability is high your RAM is corrupt.

If that happens, figure out which RAM bar is broken and get a new one.

Please tell us which specific error you have got on the bluescreen when it crashes. It should be something in all-caps, like IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL or a mnemomic for a hardware failure, like 0x......
