Indeed.
I actually preordered Mirror's Edge for pc (releasing Jan 2009). Anyway, I'm not sure about Fallout 3 and fable 2 tough.

Mirror's Edge. I played the demo to that game, and it was HEAPS of fun. Just so context-sensitive. Really in the spirit of Lugaru, although you're not a bunny and it's First Person Perspective. Not sure about its longevity though. It seems like one of those games you'll be finished in a day or two.

Fallout 3 doesn't even have a multiplayer and that game can last you weeks. It's just got so many dimensions and so much to do and so many places to go. There's also many different ways you can play the game, so no two playthroughs will be the same. That kind of gimmick is banded around a lot, but in the Fallout sense they really mean it. You can start different games where you'll use different skills and focus on different weapons.

Fable 2 seems to me like it will have no replay value, and it will be in essence a one-trick pony, feigning open-ended gameplay when really there isn't all that much that you can do that's any way interesting. That's what I gleaned from the trailers and demos, and that's what my experience was with the original Fable. Don't get me wrong, it was a good game - to rent.

That sound's better than oblivion, lol XD

Well, I liked the first fable except the fact it's too much linear and there was way more good quest than bad one while the guild members were killing each other about arguing for accepting as much good quest than bad ones. Unless I missed something ^^;
