I prefer more average, healthy dogs ... not toy dogs or overly aggressive dogs like pincers, terriers, rottweilers, boxers etc ...

more along the lines of labradors, retrievers, collies, beagles, huskies, etc ...

I dunno, I had a dog for 14 or so years, he was a total mutt though ... but he died after i went to college ... my parents say he got sick one rainy day and he wandered off (probably to die ... dogs have a tendancy to wander off somewhere to die  )

However, he wasn't ever neutered ... so I often see alot of dogs in town that look very similar to him

Considering that the original post features a photo of a small dog, this thread contains a disturbing lack of fawning. Please, allow me to address this imbalance.

Awww, oo's a cyoote iddle puppie den, eh? Oh yesh you are!

...

Seriously though, it's adorable.

man you must know nothing, the only naturally aggressive dogs are bulldogs, both British and American. and frankly, if i was walking my dog and i saw one of them i would put my dog straight back on his lead and walk him home, i never have felt safe around bulldogs.

anyway, our first dog was a rottweiler, and when we had him when i was about three, and he was never aggressive in even the slightest, the only times he was ever close to being called aggressive, was when a couple of times, somebody broke into our house (we lived in a troubled area) and all he would ever do was to growl at them. and that was all he needed to do, when he growled, the floor shook, the floor above him shook, and our next door neighbour could hear him. and he would scare the shit out of the robbers, they would run off, and our dog would then sit down next to me and my sister, and not leave us or go to sleep untill we woke up. he was a very well behaved dog. anyway, i can't remember why i started ranting, i think it was to make this point.

the only time a dog will ever be naturally aggressive is when it is raised to be such a dog
